About Me

My name, as I mentioned before, is "The Puppeteer". My 21st Anniversary was on the 29th of the 3rd. My hometown is the city of wind. I have been writing ever since I was in the third grade. I always enjoyed writing. When I was around the age of about 9 or 10, I decided that I didn't want to be forgotten when I died. I didn't want to fade into obscurity. I wanted to always be remembered. Always on minds, in ears, on lips... I wanted to live forever. But, I knew that wasnt possible (yet), so, I decided to be like the countless books that littered my shelves. These people were dead and gone, some for decades, and others centuries. I wanted that. I wanted to last beyond time. Timeless.
But, what really spurred me on to take my writing seriously was an anime called Neon Genesis Evangelion (c). The anime, at the time that it came out, I had to have been only 11 or so at the time, was far too deep and complex for a normal child to understand beyond the pretty colors and loud explosions. There are three main characters; Shinji: An introverted boy who is soft spoken and easily persuaded. He was abandoned by his father at the age of 3, only to be brought up by his cello teacher. That is, until he was called upon 9 years later by his father. Asuka: An extroverted girl who is very confident and outgoing. She was orphaned at the age of 3 when her mother died. Rei: An emotional and socially stunted girl. Born and raised alone in a lab, with only adults to socialize with, stunted her normal behavioral growth.
These three all have their own problems, and I wont go into detail about them, because you need to see it for yourself in order to understand it and appreciate it for what it is. It's very symbolic in nature, as well as throwing in the frequent religious reference. Because of the psychology, sociology, religious and mythological aspects of the anime, I found myself studying up on each subject. Needless to say, when reading my book, you will leave knowing something new.
